“I like to keep it fun and keep it young,” says Melissa. “We don’t want it to get too serious and certainly not too boring. Music is about the emotions you feel, but at the end of the day you should always feel better.”
She writes and sings songs you won’t forget. That’s because they’re songs about life – the real life of a teenage girl with grown-up dreams. Like all teenagers she’s had her roller coaster moments. But 19-year-old Melissa Cavatti knows that living with emotions that rise and fall is part of spreading your wings through the winds of life. In Melissa’s eyes it’s okay to be honest about how you feel while you’re working through the complexities of life, and even stay there mentally for a moment, as long as you don’t let the true meaning of life pass you by.
